Bar X Retro

In 2012 new stakes and prizes and adjustment of the rules permitted Electrocoin to develop a range of retro games under the new regulations. The games have the same look and feel as the original with some new features and new “retro” cabinets to remind players of the original machines.

The games feature the original BAR X and O symbols only with nudges, holds and secret winks/features.

The Bar X Retro was launched at the Electrocoin Open Day in June 2012 in a traditional “slant/flat top” model and also a retro slimline machine for smaller areas and with an optional “bandit handle” a feel closer to the original OXO.
